The TAA is an objective and directed, intervention in which an animal has a specific function as an integral part of a process of treatment.
The TAA is directed and led to held by professional of the services of health, with support of experts specialized in the handling of animals. And promotes the improvement of cognitive function (refers to thinking and intellectual skills), physical, emotional and social function of human function.

Identificarse con otra persona, conociendo sus motivos y sentimientos (empatía),
Mejora la visión externa de uno mismo (foco externo) y fomenta una cultura de cuidado por la naturaleza promoviendo el crecimiento y desarrollo de las cosas vivas. De igual manera favorece la recepción y aprobación de otros individuos (aceptación)
Y por ende hay una gran estimulación porque aumenta la comunicación con otras personas.
