It is based on the combination of the following:

• Interrogation of family history, pregnancy, childbirth, motor development and language, the control of sphincters of the sleep habits.
• Questionnaires for parents and teachers
• Scanning general and neurological
• Psychological tests: IQ or development, Visual-spatial and projective perception emotional quotient.
• Electroencephalogram in case selected.

The problem Neurobiology is the following:

The duration of treatment has been established. But it has to be continuous for the first 2 to 3 years. Then there may be periods of withdrawal from the drug.

• Psychological and pedagogical therapy (for a period of time)
• Therapy for muscular system when there are problems of strength, coordination, balance, orientation of the right or left. (for a period of time)
• Psychoanalytic therapy: for teens and adults.

Combining therapies, with its base of medicine, are the ones who allow children to improve in a short time.

Some of the symptoms can persist into adolescence or adulthood.
